Official rules
Ask The World Bingo Official Rules and Participation Terms
These rules govern free community Bingo sessions coordinated through Poclink Group 913452.
1. Application of these rules
These rules apply to Ask The World Bingo activities coordinated through Poclink Group 913452. Each scheduled session announcement, including a calendar event or other host announcement, may identify the date, start time, time zone, registration deadline, game code, maximum cards per participant, winning pattern, eligible locations, prize information, tie procedure, and organizer.
The session announcement and these rules should be read together. If a session announcement conflicts with these rules, the session announcement controls only for that scheduled game, provided the change is lawful and was clearly disclosed before registration closed.
2. Free participation
No purchase, entry fee, financial contribution, or donation is required to enter, play, or win.
A donation to Ask The World, its website, an administrator, or any related person or organization does not provide additional cards, priority registration, improved odds, preferential validation, or any other advantage.
Ask The World does not sell Poclink radios, SIM cards, subscriptions, or network service.
3. Eligibility
Non-prize recreational games are open to Ask The World community members who follow the community guidelines and can participate in the scheduled Poclink activity.
For any game offering a prize, participants must be at least 18 years old and must have reached the age of majority where they reside. Participants must also be physically located in an eligible jurisdiction identified in the session announcement. Prize games are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Administrators may require reasonable information to confirm eligibility before awarding a prize. Administrators and members of their immediate households may be excluded when stated in the session announcement.
4. Registration
The host will announce or publish the game code, card limit, registration deadline, and winning pattern before play begins.
- Generate the permitted number of cards using the official Ask The World Bingo player tool.
- Use the game code announced by the host.
- Provide the host with your recognizable Poclink radio name and every six-digit card code.
- Complete registration before the host closes and locks the registration list.
Only card codes contained in the host's locked registration list are eligible for validation.
Participants may not register more than the announced card limit, use multiple names to avoid the limit, replace a card after registration closes, submit a card after numbers have been called, register another person's card without authorization, or attempt to manipulate the player or host tools.
5. Cards and odds
Every eligible participant may register up to the same maximum number of cards stated in the session announcement.
Cards are generated from the game code, six-digit card code, and published algorithm version. The host can independently reconstruct each registered card.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible cards registered, the winning pattern, the generated cards, the order of called numbers, and the number of calls completed before another eligible card wins. Donation history, membership status, and relationships with administrators do not change card generation or permitted card allocation.
6. Gameplay
The host will randomly call numbers from 1 through 75 and announce them over Poclink. Participants are responsible for listening to the calls, marking their cards accurately, maintaining sufficient radio and device access, and promptly announcing a Bingo claim.
The center FREE space is automatically treated as marked. The host's called-number history is the authoritative record. A participant's markings or screenshot do not determine whether a claim is valid.
The winning pattern must be disclosed before the first number is called. Unless otherwise stated, the standard pattern is five marked spaces in one horizontal row, vertical column, or corner-to-corner diagonal.
7. Claiming and verifying Bingo
A participant claiming Bingo must promptly announce "Bingo," the participant's registered radio name, and the applicable six-digit card code. The host may pause the game while the claim is reviewed.
The host will confirm that the participant and card were registered before play, reconstruct the card using the game code and algorithm version, compare the card with the authoritative called-number history, and determine whether the announced winning pattern is complete.
A claim is invalid when the card was not registered, the card code does not match the registered participant, the card was registered after the deadline, one or more required numbers had not been called, the claimed pattern is not the announced pattern, or the participant violated the card limit or another material rule.
The host's reasonable verification decision is final for purposes of the community activity.
8. Multiple or simultaneous claims
A claim is considered received when the host reasonably hears and identifies it over the designated Poclink group. Radio collisions, network delay, or overlapping transmissions may make exact ordering difficult.
When two or more valid claims arise from the same called number and the host cannot reasonably determine which was received first, the host will use the tie procedure stated in the session announcement. The procedure may include dividing a divisible prize, providing equal prizes when announced in advance, conducting a random drawing among tied verified claimants, or continuing with a disclosed tie-breaker game.
9. Prizes
No prize is offered unless the session announcement clearly states the exact prize, quantity, approximate retail value, delivery restrictions, claim deadline, tie procedure, and delivery method.
A winner may be required to privately provide reasonable contact, eligibility, shipping, or tax information. Participants should never transmit sensitive information over the public Poclink group.
Unless the session announcement states otherwise, prizes are non-transferable, no cash substitution is available, the organizer may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the announced prize becomes unavailable, and a prize that cannot legally or practically be delivered may be forfeited. The winner is responsible for taxes, fees, duties, or reporting obligations associated with accepting the prize.
10. Conduct and disqualification
The host may disqualify a participant for fraudulent registration, use of unregistered or excess cards, impersonation, deliberate interference, harassment, tampering with game data, false eligibility information, or violation of the Ask The World community guidelines.
A disqualification decision should have a reasonable, documented basis and should not be applied selectively.
11. Technical interruptions
Poclink, cellular networks, Wi-Fi, internet service, browsers, hosting providers, radios, and participant devices may experience delay, interruption, or failure.
The host may pause, resume, reschedule, restart, or cancel a game when a technical problem materially affects fairness or the ability to verify results. When practical, the host should preserve the locked registration list, called-number history, game settings, existing valid claims, and exported game-state backup.
12. Privacy
A participant's radio name, game code, card code, registration status, and winning status may be announced over Poclink or displayed in connection with administering the game.
Participants should not submit home addresses, telephone numbers, government identification numbers, financial account information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information. Information needed for prize delivery or legal reporting should be collected privately and retained only as reasonably necessary.
13. Platform and service disclaimer
Ask The World is an independent, member-run community. The game is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Poclink, Facebook or Meta, Bluehost, Google, any radio manufacturer, any cellular carrier, or any other platform or service provider used to communicate about or conduct the activity.
To the extent permitted by law, participants release Facebook and Meta from claims arising solely from Facebook's use to communicate or administer a promotion. Poclink provides communications service but does not administer, judge, or verify the game.
14. Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the organizer and volunteer administrators are not responsible for losses caused by missed or unintelligible radio calls, network delay, service interruption, device failure, browser incompatibility, incorrect player markings, incorrect participant information, unauthorized alteration of a participant's device, or events beyond their reasonable control.
Nothing in these rules excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Changes, cancellation, and interpretation
The organizer may clarify or amend these rules before registration closes when necessary for fairness, security, operations, or legal compliance.
After registration closes, material changes should be limited to circumstances involving technical failure, fraud, safety, legal requirements, or events beyond the organizer's reasonable control. Changes should be announced through the same channels used to announce the game.
Registering a card or otherwise participating constitutes acceptance of these rules and the applicable session announcement.
